Tiktok's algorithms have been put up for sale

Tik Tok algorithms have been put up for sale by ByteDance, the owner of the social media application. A number of algorithms that take Tiktok user experience to the next level, including the social media platform's artificial intelligence-powered recommendation algorithm, have now turned into algorithms that anyone can buy.

What Are the TikTok Algorithms for Sale Made Of?

According to information shared by the Financial Times, TikTok's artificial intelligence-based algorithms can now be purchased and used by other companies. ByteDance, the owner of the social media application, has created a special section called BytePlus to sell the algorithms used by TikTok. Some of the algorithms included in this section consist of:

  • BytePlus Recommend: This algorithm is defined as an algorithm that will allow its customers to see exactly the products and similar ones that they want to see. Just as users find content on TikTok based on their own interests, companies that purchase the algorithm in question can also show products based on the interests of their users. In other words, those who buy this algorithm will actually buy the TikTok recommendation algorithm.
  • BytePlus Translate: BytePlus Translate is briefly defined as a fast, reliable service that can be placed in applications or websites.
  • BytePlus Effects: This algorithm allows companies that make purchases to obtain TikTok's motion detection system. Those who buy this algorithm can get a system that will easily detect people's movements, as TikTok does. Among the perceived parts, there are 18 key points of the body, including the Decapitated head, shoulders and feet.
  • DataPlayer: This brings you to more detailed data to get better games. You can collect detailed information about your users' experiences, tastes and much more.

ByteDance already has several clients as well. Companies such as Goat, Chilibeli and WeGo are currently using BytePlus services. The company also includes companies that use its own services on BYTEPLUS' site. The company behind globally buzzing apps like TikTok can compete with them by selling their important tools, just as companies like Amazon and Microsoft also do.

ByteDance has not yet announced its plans for BytePlus, but it is expected that many companies will purchase ByteDance's services in the near future in order to have TikTok's advanced algorithms.
