A file on direct-to-consumer (D2C) advertising in 2019 finds that SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING is a top acquisition channel for many brands.
While asked “what are your most sensible THREE acquisition channels?” the responses were:61% – Social media 51% – WEB OPTIMIZATION 50% – Direct site visitors
Paid search got here in fourth place (26%), and bodily retail outlets had been a distant 5th position response (18%).

Whilst it comes to paid search, particularly Google Advertisements, 47% of D2C brands say they’re increasing their ad spend in 2019.
Spend on Google Shopping ads is up to boot, with 32% of D2C brands pronouncing they’re spending more in that house.
a significant amount of D2C manufacturers are expanding their spend on social media ads. in particular, 49% are spending extra on Instagram ads and 52% are spending more on Fb ads.
Ad spend is up among D2C manufacturers in nearly all areas except for traditional advertising reminiscent of print, outside, TV, and radio ads.
