Preparing Your Phones
Before we begin, make sure both your primary and secondary phones are within reach. The primary phone should have your active WhatsApp account, and the secondary phone is the one you intend to use WhatsApp on as well.
Initiating the Process
- Open WhatsApp on your secondary phone and stop at the screen asking for your phone number.
- Tap the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
- Choose "Link Device" or "Connect as a secondary device" from the menu.
Scanning the QR Code
- Your secondary phone will display a QR code.
- On your primary phone, open WhatsApp.
- Go to 'Settings' > 'Linked Devices' or 'WhatsApp Web'.
- Select 'Link a Device' or 'Scan QR Code'.
- Scan the QR code from the secondary phone's screen with your primary phone.
Voila! Dual WhatsApp Access
